Tonight I dug out the button tin that was my Mommy's . . . "new" toys to use on my projects!!
I have learned recently how precious a varied supply of buttons can be . . now I understand better why Big John's Flea Market sells quart jars of random buttons for $20 (last time I was there)!!!!!!! Can you even imagine such a cash value on such a simple thing as buttons, and not even matched sets???!!!!!

Yet I am considering purchasing a quart or two (2) for my quilts . .. unusual buttons add something special I enjoy . . .
